I've been getting quite frustrated with YouTube lately... It keeps enabling auto-dubbing, including in videos where that doesn't make sense (e.g. videos about phonetics).
I understand that this is a cultural thing and some people prefer dubs over subs, but I just can't stand it.
I know that realistically I won't stop using YouTube, but I want to give peertube another shot.
So, I've been wondering... what are some cool #peertube channels to follow?
Oh, cool! Thank you so much for the tip. It seems to do the trick.
I did see that setting, but I assumed it would have the opposite effect ("please dub the videos in these language").
Maybe it will also do that, but in the worst case scenario I can just add all languages if that become an issue.
@JD557 I think there's an option somewhere in YouTube settings to add preferred languages that fixes the issue language-wide. Preferred languages won't be auto dubbed.
