Was ripping some old-ish (around 2010) music CDs today.
Two things that I had completely forgotten about, and found quite amusing:
One was that a bunch of those CDs were already "pre-ripped": As in, they had a separate music partition with the MP3s. That was pretty nice, especially since I didn't really care about lossless quality.
Another was how pervasive MySpace was in the late 00s. Sure, I recall finding a lot of bands in there, but I forgot how prominent the MySpace links where in the albums/compilation covers.
